Terms and Conditions
Booking
You will need to fill in a booking form with all relevant details either online or printed off and either scanned and emailed to liz@woodchurchsafarilodge.co.uk or posted together with your payment. Please also email for the correct address.
Bookings can only be made by those over 18 and we will confirm your booking by email, and additional correspondence will be by email so there is a trail of confirmed information on both sides.
Deposit
To confirm a booking, you must pay a 20% deposit and the balance is due at least 35 days before check in. If you book within 35 days of your stay, the balance is due in full.
Refunds
If you are not able to take up your booking, then providing you have given us more than 28 days’ notice, we will give you a 50% refund of any additional balance paid, but we will not refund your deposit.
Within 28 days, we will not offer refunds.
Personal possessions
Your personal possessions – including your vehicle: We accept no liability for damage to your possessions, or for any possessions that go missing. The safari lodge does have an alarm system which guests will be able to use (the code changes each time a new guest arrives for added security), but we would still recommend taking any personal possessions of any value with you when you are not inside.
We will provide you with bike storage for two bikes inside our house for an additional fee if required. Please ask us about this in advance if you would like to take this offer up.
Right to refuse booking
We reserve the right to refuse a booking at our discretion. We will refund fees in this case, including any booking fees.
We also reserve the right to ask you to leave immediately if you do not adhere to our conditions of stay or our terms and conditions. If we are forced to ask you to leave, we would not offer any refund of your money.
Travel insurance
Travel insurance does not only provide cover for trips overseas, it can also provide cover for trips within the UK. So we would strongly suggest that you take out a relevant travel policy at the time of your booking so if you are forced to change plans at the last minute, you may be able to reclaim costs from your insurer. You should also ensure that all of your possessions are insured for the duration of your stay.
We remind you that we do not accept any liability for damage or loss to/of your property while you are staying at Woodchurch Safari Lodge.
